Renato Guerra Cavalcanti

Renato Cavalcanti is an independent software engineer and consultant specializing in distributed systems, with deep expertise in Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design. He has been a contributor to Akka since 2017, working on the Akka libraries, and most recently Akka Runtime and Akka SDK, where he applies distributed systems principles, such as durability, workflows, supervision, and observability, to the design of reliable multi-agent AI systems.

A Scala developer since 2009, he founded BeScala, the Belgian Scala User Group, and is a regular speaker at Scala, Java, and broader developer conferences, as well as workshops on Scala and Event Sourcing.
