Mobicents Sip Servlets - Telco applications in Java
Abstract
A discussion about the features in Mobicents Sip Servlet and JSR-289 (Sip Servlets 1.1). Mobicents Sip Servlets is an open-source platform providing the first open-source JSR-289 compliant container. It also bundles a Media Server and it runs on top of the most popular open-source application servers - Tomcat and JBoss. Using the familiar concepts from HTTP Servlets you can create a wide variety of VoIP applications in pure Java without depending on any external software or hardware.
